Course Description

Through a combination of lecture and hands-on training this three day course teaches the core skills required to configure, operate and maintain a GENESIS64™ system. It will cover topics such as AssetWorX™, AlarmWorX64™, HyperHistorian™, GraphWorX64™, Global Aliasing and Security. Upon completion of the course the students will have a core understanding of the fundamentals of the GENESIS64 Suite™.

  • Use Workbench as a centralised project management tool to develop a realistic SCADA and HMI project
  • Learn to build graphics with GraphWorX™
  • Configure and interact with the AlarmWorX64™ server
  • View real-time and historical data using the TrendWorX64™ Viewer and our HyperHistorian™ Logger designed to log large volumes of data
  • Secure your SCADA system with ICONICS Security with both Local and Active Directory integration now including Azure Active Directory with the latest version
  • Learn about OPC DA, OPC HDA, OPC AE, OPC UA servers
  • Benefits of the Unified Data Manager and Unified Data Browser
  • Use of Global Aliasing to reduce development time and maintenance time
  • Gain an introduction on how the native features can be used to remove the need for scripting
