Alarm Attributes
Definition/Term: OPC Alarm and Events servers supply their information to OPC Clients using attributes, mandatory attributes include source (tag), timestamp, and quality. In addition to these attributes OPC AE servers can also supply their own specific attributes, examples of these specific attributes provided by the ICONICS Alarm Server are Area, Help, and Current Value.
