ICONICS Energy Analytics Leverages StreamInsight Technology

ICONICS a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner of the Year, and provider of Web-enabled, OPC-based, HMI/SCADA Visualization and Manufacturing Intelligence software for Microsoft Windows® operating systems, announced the use of Microsoft StreamInsight technology as an integral part of its Energy Analytics solution.
Energy Analytics, the “green” component to the BizViz family of analytic solutions, assists companies with energy conservation efforts by offering actionable intelligence that helps users make better decisions for the future. This information will allow building owners to reduce energy consumption, aggregate and summarize energy usage by location, and forecast energy costs over time. With costs of energy increasing, the need for such a solution has never been greater. Energy Analytics helps companies reduce their overall carbon footprint through optimization of energy consumption and assists companies in meeting LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards. Users gain insight into energy consumption patterns, correlate information using Microsoft SharePoint integrated dashboards, and “dollarize” energy usage data to optimize asset utilization.

ICONICS is pleased to announce that GENESIS64 V10.5, GENESIS32 V9.2 and BizViz V9.2 Release Candidates have been made available for all registered Beta users. The DVD's contain pdf's at the root level stating what has been added to the new versions. We will be exploring this for each product in later blogs. Please refer to the Known Issues section of the DVD Readme prior to any installation or deployment.

Cully Automation Delivers Telemetry Project

Cully Automation, leading integrators in the Irish Water and Wastewater industry, supply countywide telemetry project for an Irish Local Authority using ICONICS solutions, GENESIS32, AlarmWorX, AlarmWorX Multimedia and WebHMI.
This project uses six WebHMI servers, one in each regional office, to gather information from a network of PLC and low power radio nodes. The Local Authority will use this information to view the flow of water countywide, monitor and alarm of high flows, reservoir levels, water quality issues and will eventually control pumps and motorised valves throughout the county.
The Local Authority will benefit from thin client connectivity using WebHMI, and will be able to view all their graphical information displays, trends and alarms through a web browser. The addition of AlarmWorX Multimedia to this solution ensures that any triggered alarms can be distributed to the right people via a number of communication methods including phone and email.
Cully Automation chose to recommend GENESIS32 for this project based on their excellent and longstanding relationship with ICONICS UK and because they knew that the solution could handle the complex needs and requirements of their client.

IE8 is easier to use, faster and offers leading-edge security features in direct response to people's increasing concerns about online safety. Among its new features are Accelerators (helping to perform common tasks), Web Slices (making favorite site information instantly available) and Visual Search Suggestions.
